      Red Patrol Bucharest of the Contrasts Tour with Dacia

      The Red Patrol Bucharest of Contrasts tour takes you in a visit of 3 different Bucharest neighborhoods: of the bourgeoisie, of the average people, and of the poor Romanians. Discover the life facts and get a memorable snapshot of how contrasting is real life is in Bucharest. Our Dacias will take you off the beaten tracks of the city to get a memorable snapshot of how real life is in Bucharest : Cotroceni neighborhood, the amazing residential villa quarter of Bucharest where the XIXth century and present bourgeoisie live. Discover the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, the Military Academy Building, the Botanical Garden or the villas. Drumul Taberei neighborhood, the place where average people live. Discover the huge communist blocks of flats, the peasant market or the Orthodox churches  of the average Romanians. Ferentari neighborhood, one of the most photographic & contrasting places of  Bucharest known as the “city Machala “a place with bad fame, high poverty and ghetto style buildings. A memorable ride on the central streets of Bucharest with a fully restored Dacia 1310 car from the 80's. You'll get unique photos with an iconic car for Romanians. What to expect: We meet at meeting point We present you the car A ride to Cotroceni area, villa presentation. A ride to the Military Academy, the Botanical Garden, the Cotroceni Palace (the Romanian Presidency), the former HQ of the Communist Party Academy. Stops in different places for photos and stories. A ride to Drumul Taberei to and see the new malls, the apartment building from the Stalinist period and the ones built by Nicolae Ceaușescu together with the peasant market and the neighborhood churches. Stops for photos and stories. A ride to Ferentari, known as the “city machala” (ghetto).Stop along the way to make photos. You will receive a tour gift. All the cars provided by Red Patrol are fully restored classics that meet fully the safety traffic regulations. The Red Patrol provides quality and safe conditions tours with fully restored vehicles and we do not allow the participation with pets or children under 10 years old. This event is public and one ticket allows one person to occupy one seat in the car. If you want to book a car just for yourself, you have to buy three tickets.
